USER TESTERS
VisionPoints, the Experience Designers is looking for a few new user-testers for website and blog audits. $25 for a half-hour of clicking around a website!
For this position we are not looking for people with experience in our field. We keep contact information for many different user profiles on hand (such as: very web savvy, light web user, heavy blog reader, never read a blog, frequent web shopper, hobbies and interests, different fields of work and study, etc.). When a site that fits your profile comes up we contact you to set a day for the site test.
NOTE: Tests are conducted IN-PERSON. This is NOT remote/ virtual testing. Testers must live near north Wilmington, Delaware, and be willing to drive here for user tests. Our needs vary, but at present we’d expect to call on you once a month. We pay $25.00 per user test.

Unlike most jobs for this one we are interested in your hobbies or online interests, so if you are writing a novel, love to garden, or enjoy classical music, for instance, please mention these non-work interests in your cover. That way we’ll know that when a site for writers comes up you’re just the person to review it, even though that’s not your day-to-day activity.

Areas of expertise:
VisionPoints is always seeking candidates who are familiar with and passionate about integrated design. If you specialize in the following areas, and are committed to finding integrated Solutions for our clients, great… If you are a Renaissance person with true strength and experience in more than one area below, then this is the place for you.
Strategic/Industry Researchers. Strategic research is the foundation for all our work at VisionPoints. Must be an avid reader and a true detective, able to use traditional media and the Internet to collect and synthesize data about client’s industry, competitive forces, trends, and innovative opportunities. Requires dogged curiosity, and fascination with helping clients reach their potential through skilled planning and implementation of Experience Design. Strength in structuring and conducting field research and web user testing is essential. If you don’t like talking with new people this work is not for you! This position is very hands-on, as are all positions with VisionPoints.
Graphic Designers. Strength in prepress and press checks necessary; new media experience also essential. Web developers welcome, but must be a skilled designer first and foremost. Must have good command of graphic accessibility and user experience (UX) issues. Warning: We also expect hand work, the old-fashioned way! We want to see good ideation and drafting skills in our Graphic specialists. Must be able to put together stunning boards and comps that sell your ideas. Send at least three photos or samples of your work, showing the range of your skills.
Interior Designers. Experience in site review required. Designer who is also a g.c. or has experience in that area would be a plus. NCIDQ also a plus. Must understand and believe in working with the ADA toward seamless accessibility in all projects. Warning: We also expect hand work, the old-fashioned way! We want to see good ideation and drafting skills in our Interior specialists. Must be able to put together stunning plans, and boards that sell your ideas. Send at least three photos or samples of your work, showing the range of your skills.
Brilliant copywriters, and those with public relations and promotions experience, are also welcome to contact us. Send at least three samples of your work, showing the range of your skills.
