What's the Experience Design Solution Process?
After our Discovery meeting, VisonPoints’ work begins with an experience audit, or evaluation, followed by extensive research and interviews.
The Perspective of an outsider's eye is often the most eye-opening step. Our experts evaluate your site, materials, promotion methods, and personal interactions. We research not only your firm, but your field, location, and current business climate, to give a full picture of your current standing in the broader market. With this in-depth analysis we look for strengths you should exploit, and directions to explore for future growth.
In Purpose (both original and current), we conduct interviews with management and staff, and answer the questions: What was the Vision that got you into business? Does that Vision still work today or is it time to realign? We uncover the messages being delivered to customers, look for your internal "brand evangelists"—those who convey your Vision most fervently—and find out what fires them up about your firm. From the top down, one Vision needs to be shared by all to consistently convey it to the customer.
When we research Perception, we conduct interviews and surveys with your best customers, casual customers, and those who are not (yet!) your customers. Who shops with you and why? What do your customers want to see in your firm? Why do some customers stay loyal, while others go elsewhere? What can you learn from each group?

How Fast?
Although we follow our "Five Ps" procedure for every client, the Experience Design Solution we will engineer for you is completely custom. How fast your Solution is in place depends on a number of factors including your firm's size, your goals, and the depth of the physical changes necessary to take your Presence from concept to completion. Your firm's commitment to the project is also a factor in its speed, as getting needed approvals, gathering materials, providing access to staff for interviews, and scheduling other work are all within your control. A small firm with smooth approval process and moderate needs, redesigning and redirecting but not starting from scratch, might expect to be fully utilizing Maximum Customer Experience in as little as three months. A larger firm, or a firm with more extensive needs such as a new location, should expect the project to take at least six months.
